The School of Governance and Public Affairs organized a webinar titled ‘Pioneering a Future for Public Policy in India’ on 29th July 2024. The event featured a talk by Mr. Yash Agarwal, founder of Public Policy India, who has prior work experience at ICANN, Twitter, and the Indian Parliament. Mr. Agarwal discussed the critical role of public policy in a democratic society, emphasizing the IDIME framework (Idea, Design, Implementation Monitoring, and Evaluation) for effective policymaking. He highlighted the shared responsibility of citizens and government in policy adherence and the importance of policy studies in addressing socio-political challenges. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of policy innovation and its impact.
