One of our second year students viz. Arohi Girishbhai Prajapati has been appointed as a consultant with Gujarat Agro industries corporation ltd. Gujarat agro has been appointed as state nodal agency for the effective implementation of FPO scheme. She shall be providing her services as consultant in the field of FPO / FPC for social mobilization of farmers to establish effective governance and management of FPO/FPC. Alongside she will be again working on the effective implementation and monitoring of schemes such PMFME, PKVY and other schemes and policy connected to agriculture sector. The current number of FPO/FPC functioning is 100 for the upcoming accounting year where each FPO/FPC will consist of at least 300 Farmers.
