The School of Governance and Public Affairs organized its fifth annual policy seminar under the rubric of ‘Policy Analysis and Action Series’ (PAAS) on “Corporate Governance in India: Challenges and Prospects for Public Policy” on 23rd February at XIM University, Bhubaneswar. The purpose of PAAS-V is to promote dialogue, debate, and discourse on multiple policy dimensions on corporate governance and their implications for public policy in India. It further highlighted the evolution, principles and practices of corporate governance within the framework of good governance for influencing policy responses. The eminent speakers on the occasion were Prof. (Dr.) Arun Rath, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, Centre of Corporate Governance & CSR, IIM Nagpur, Ex Chairman, Indian Institute of Public Administration, Odisha Regional Office, Bhubaneswar, a recipient of the ‘prestigious Paul Appleby Award for his outstanding contribution to the field of Public Administration (2022) and Mr. Mathew Joseph, Country Director, American India Foundation, New Delhi.
