Decolonization of Global Health: Implications for Health Systems and Universal Health Coverage in India

Dr. Niranjan Mishra, Director of Public Health, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Odisha delivered the Keynote Address with his rich insights shaped by his experience of leading Odisha Government’s health policy especially in crucial times including the Covid-19 pandemic. Dr. Ravi Verma, Regional Director, International Centre for Research on Women’s (ICRW) Asia Regional Office in New Delhi, delivered the Thematic Speech on the topic “Decolonization of Global Health: Implications for Health Systems and Universal Health Coverage in India”, where he centred his speech on the intersections of various marginalized identities and their access to health.
