On 22nd August 2025, the School of Governance and Public Affairs (SGPA) organized After Hush – Freshers’ 2025 to welcome the new BA-PAG batch. The event, planned and executed by the senior SGPA students, was marked by a strong sense of camaraderie.

SGPA’s Ethnic Day on January 9th, 2024, celebrated cultural diversity with vibrant traditional attire and performances by undergraduate and postgraduate students. The Common Room buzzed with music, dance, and shared heritage, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. The day ended with a heartwarming photo session, capturing the spirit of inclusivity and unity among students.
On December 19, 2023, the School of Governance and Public Affairs embraced the spirit of the season with a joyous Christmas Celebration event. It was a delightful occasion filled with laughter, music, and camaraderie, bringing together students and faculty members in a spirit of unity and joy. The highlight of the event was the lively performances by students, who showcased their talents through dance and carol singing. Their spirited renditions of traditional carols and festive dances created a warm and festive atmosphere, spreading joy and cheer to all in attendance. The festivities culminated in a heartwarming cake cutting ceremony, where students and faculty members gathered around to share in the joy of the occasion.
The Teachers’ Day celebration at SGPA was a perfect blend of tradition, creativity, and camaraderie, symbolizing the deep respect and admiration the students hold for their educators. It provided a platform for students to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation towards their teachers, acknowledging their unwavering dedication and inspiring guidance. The celebration also featured energetic performances by the students, including musical renditions, dance performances, and skits, showcasing their talents and creativity. These performances not only entertained the audience but also served as a testament to the strong bond between students and teachers, united by a shared passion for learning and growth.
The 2nd and 3rd-year students of the BA-PAG program at the School of Governance and Public Affairs recently organized a vibrant Fresher’s Party, aptly named “Carvaan: Echoes of the Past,” to extend a heartfelt welcome to our newest members. “Caarvaan: Echoes of the Past” marked the grand initiation of the new academic year, where the vibrant and dynamic spirit of the institution was unveiled through an evening of festivities, performances, and camaraderie. The event was meticulously organized to create an unforgettable experience for the freshers, allowing them to step into the rich history and exciting future of the institution.
The event, held with great enthusiasm and anticipation, aimed to create a warm and inclusive environment for the incoming students as they embark on their journey with us. From lively music to delicious refreshments, every aspect of the event was meticulously planned to ensure an enjoyable experience for all attendees.
In addition to the festivities, various interactive games and ice-breaking activities were organized to facilitate meaningful interactions and foster a sense of belongingness among the participants.
