The Xureaucrats Club of the School of Governance and Public Affairs organized the event Blueprint Boundaries – The Land Conquest on October 1, 2024, at Seminar Hall 1, XIM University. The event explored a real-world case study involving XEM Company’s land acquisition plans in the Mahanadi River Basin, focusing on corporate expansion, land rights, environmental sustainability, and the socio-economic impact on indigenous communities.
Participants engaged in interactive role-playing sessions, adopting perspectives of stakeholders like government officials, NGOs, and local leaders to analyze ethical and economic trade-offs. Expert panelists added depth by sharing real-world insights into similar conflicts.
